Prerequisite Exercise
Create a report using the
Xtreme sample database that ships with Crystal Reports.
The report will include
shipping charges on each customer order.
The customers included in the report will be from England and Canada.
The fields to include are
as follows:
- The product name (create a formula that
includes the word bicycle for those product class is
bicycles). Be sure to display all
products.
- Quantity ordered
- Shipped Via
- Shipping Charge – create formula based on the
following criteria:
- UPS
- Bicycles
12.95 per unit
- Gloves 4.95 per pair
- All others 7.97 per unit
- Fedex
- Bicycles
13.55 per unit
- Gloves 5.55 per pair
- All others 8.95 per unit
- Loomis
- Bicycles
11.95 per unit
- Gloves 5.95 per pair
- All others 9.97 per unit
- Purolator
- Bicycles
10.95 per unit
- Gloves 5.55 per pair
- All others 6.95 per unit
- Parcel Post

- Include the following groups:
- Customer Name
- Order Date – create a formula to use as the
Order date group name as shown here:
